Guest Speaker at Just For Grandparents Club

Guest Speaker at Just For Grandparents Club

Each month R.S.V.P., the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Beaver County meets at the Center at the Mall in Beaver Valley Mall, Monaca, PA.  This group is designed to support grandparents who are primary caretakers of their grandchildren or involved regularly in the care of their grandchildren. This is an open format group designed to encourage dialogue and support for each of the participants.

This month, we have a very special guest joining us.  Nieves Stiker is the former Director of Community Education at Carlow University.  She has worked with women in transition for more than 15 years at Community Education.  One of her key roles was to help them to think clearly and creatively about both their personal and professional lives.  She has affected the lives of many by empowering them to believe in themselves.   Nieves continues to work with women and men today through the New Choices/New Options program at Pennsylvania Women Work.

“Just for Grandparents Club” always takes place on the last Tuesday of the month from 1:30 to 3:00.  For February the date is the 28th.

Please join us!  Take a little time to nurture yourself as we share and support one another.
